1. The Founder - Their is no founder. It is developed out of Brahminism. Hinduism is the oldest religion and may go back to prehistoric times.
2. Hindu leaders - It doesn't have a hierarchical authority structure or leader in the family tree as do some other religions.
3. Place of worship - They have an everyday shrine in their homes. It is in small rooms in their houses. They also go to a temple to worship gods.
4. Where did the religion begin - It developed in India and is mostly practiced there.
5. Main beliefs - There are many gods and they believe in life after death.
6. Gods - They are polytheistic. They have many gods. One of them is Brahma - known as the preserver.
7. Sacred writings - The sacred writing is called Vedas. It was written in Sanskrit. They are said to be the most ancient writings in Hinduism.
8. Religion practices - They worship called (Puji) - 1. They pray in their shrines. 2. Cremation
